In 2008, the OJSC Bank “Ukrgazbank” became one of the greatest domestic financial intermediaries.

 

As of January 1^st, 2009, the bank had a network of more than 390 sales outlets in all the regions of Ukraine.

 

The OJSC Bank “Ukrgazbank” is a principal member of international payment systems VISA International, MasterCard WorldWide and “UkrKart”, as well as a member of the Fund of guaranteeing the deposits of individual persons. The Bank is collaborating with international money transfer systems Western Union, Contact, Leader, Anelik and MoneyGram.

 

In the result of realization of the project of the ATM networks integration with other leading domestic banks, the ATM network, in which cardholders of the OJSC Bank “Ukrgazbank”can be served at the reduced tariffs, as of January 1, 2009, numbered about 4 000 ATMs.

 

The Bank pursues a policy of informational transparency and publicity. In 2008, the Agency for financing initiatives, together with the rating service of corporative management Standard & Poor’s conducted a study of informational transparency of the 30 largest banks in Ukraine. According to the results of the study, the OJSC Bank “Ukrgazbank” won the first place in the rating with a result of 71.2%. Ukrgazbank became the first domestic bank in the history of such researches, which has overcome the token index mark of transparency of 70%. This result is at a level of analogous indices of the leading financial institutions of the world.
