The CMRC has its history of creation and development. The territory was chosen in summer, 1964, on the western shore of the sea in Eupatoria and the building, planning of the dormitories, administrative and utility structures and marking of the sports ground and alleys began. Particular attention was paid to the creation of a park zone. Planted in those days pines and other trees still decorate the children medical rehabilitation centre. The creation of a pioneer camp started with the construction of the “Topoliok” building and it was built during the summer season. At the same time a canteen with 650 seats and a first-aid station were built. Later three more buildings were built: “Morskoi”, “Yubileinyi” and “Edelveis”. On the territory there are a lot of varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers. There is the big and beautiful sandy beach with stove benches. There are three shelters for dispersion of solar radiation. Rest can be combined with treatment. Here is the ideal place for treatment of upper air passages, there are the inhalatorium, the physiotherapy room, massage and sea trips. Holiday-makers visit the places of interest: the Dolphinarium, the Aquapark, the Local History Museum, the Mosque, the Sea Port and the Zoo. There are also the cinema, the theatre and the children's theatre. Children constantly watch films and performances of drama theatre and other artistic groups, visit different centres: dancing and drawing centres, a “Skillful hands” centre. Every day disco is held.
