The climatic-balneological sanatorium “Perlyna Karpat” is situated in the health-resort zone in the valley of the Liatorytsia river (a tributary of the Tisza), in the woodland park of the hole Beregvar, at the foothills of the southern wooded slope of the Ukrainian Carpathians at a height of 350 metres above sea level, in the easily accessible for inhabitants place with the established public transport system. The regional centre Uzhhorod town lies in 60 km, and the district centre Mukachevo town lies in 18 km. An architectural monument of the 19th century – an ancient castle, which belonged to the Austrian count Fredrik Shenborn – makes the territory of the sanatoium beautiful.
